On Sunday 22 September, David (he doesn't work for Saford but he did not want to miss out on this challenge)and I and a group of staff will set off on a sponsored bike ride from the civic centre in Swinton to The Salfordian Hotel in Southport. The journey there is 37 miles.
This will be a bit of a challenge for us both as we have only recently cycled up to 10 miles.
The ride will raise much needed funds for the hotel, a registered charity which helps older or less mobile Salford residents to enjoy a short break away from home.
