Thanks for visiting my page! In April, I will be running my first ever marathon in Manchester for the Heart of Experian Charity Fund.
The Heart of Experian Charity is a grassroots charity that distributes its voluntary income and expertise to communities, schools and projects in the local area. The charity works with companies that have an annual turnover of less than £5000; this indicates that there is support needed to help out those who are less fortunate than us. I’ve worked on a number of different projects whilst at Experian. These included: revamping a local school area – so children can have a safe environment to play in. Refurbished a local farm which is funded by charities like Experian to help young offenders get back into the community and teach them important life skills to improve their employability chances. And distributing second hand furniture to those who have recently moved into council houses but lack the funds for essential household items. It's distressing that this is happening in local communities.
So I’m asking you to donate a small amount for those who are less fortunate, so that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed in life.
Ps. That's if I actually make it across the finish line.
