Two of my children have spent time in the BRI so I'm aware of how important it can be for those children in hospital to continue to have access to toys and games which well help them find it that little bit easier to be in a strange environment. On Saturday 16th April I will be joining several others to abseil down the Margaret MacMillan Tower in Bradford to help in raising funds in aid of Bradford Hospitals Children's Charity and Spread a Smile which provides small grants for organisations and smaller groups across the Bradford district. It will help to provide added extras to the Bradford Hospitals new Childrens Wing and give them toys and games which will help distract the children from the fact they are in hospital. Spread a smile are a charity which help provide entertainment to children who are staying in hospital, just to make their day that little bit brighter. Now I just need a costume!
