Team Fundraisers
Hello. My name is Maggie and I'm doing a sponsored readathon for Hatherop Primary School to help raise money for a big building project. The school is very cramped which means we can never put on plays as a whole school for our parents or do PE inside when it's raining. One of the classrooms outside is cold and damp. The plan is to build a new hall and a better classroom too.
The children at my school are trying to raise a good £10,000 pounds and I’m doing this readathon to be part of that. My plan is to read one letter for every pound we need to raise by the summer holidays. My dad asked Alexa and she said that was the same as reading over 1,000 pages (with no pictures!!).
I will appreciate every penny that I raise. This will help my school and all the people in it. I may be little, but I can still do this challenge and complete it!
