This July I plan to ride from John O'Groats to Lands End in aid of MAP.
MAP’s aim is to help young people in Norfolk to have better lives – to be safer, healthier and happier. MAP supports young people in their aspirations to get on, to make progress despite often huge barriers, encouraging young people to try new things, meet new people, learn new skills and become active members of the community. MAP’s vision is that all young people will know what it is to be valued, and that they will have the support and information they need to make a successful transition to adulthood. MAP delivers services within a strong set of values: being young person centred, valuing each individual, being professional, working for social justice. We aim to provide our services under one roof, by highly trained, experienced, qualified professionals:
• youth work and informal education
• independent advice on housing, money, benefits, education, training, employment, sexual health, relationships
• counselling and other therapeutic services
