68 Mile sponsored walk to raise funds for and promote Newark and Sherwood Museum Serice based at Newark Nottinghamshire

The Friends are working to raise £60,000 towards the new museum for Newark which will actract tourists to the area and encourage locals to support their heritage

The Friends hope to raise £3,000 from the walk and the talk on Roman Fosseway by Mark Patterson. The money raised will be used for funds towards the capital costs of the museum project and will probably go towards the lift system which will allow universal access
