UPDATE Well I did it - The first 50 miles were hell riding into the wind and where the chimp was in control (REF: The chimp paradox by Dr Steve Peters) then I actually started to enjoy it. Despite being one of the last to start and always chasing the cut off points for the broom waggon - I made it and managed to cycle up all the hills (including Leith Hill). Thank you for every one who has supported Love Kingston so far but it is not too late. ________________________________________________________________ I know I have done this before BUT due to an accident I didn't get to complete the full 100 miles -. Likewise my brother was diverted last year so neither did he - so we've decided to have another go The final training ride was completed on Sunday (complete with us both getting punctures) - the Kingston to Kingston Surrey Leg is complete - so now it is just the London bit to brave on Sunday. Whilst we both got our places through the standard ballot - we have decided to try and raise money for Love Kingston the charity chosen by our very own Mayor - Councillor Julie Pickering. Please help to make this an amazing year for Love Kingston and give me a really good reason to climb Newlands Corner, Leith Hill and Box Hill. Maria and Michael
