The 16th of October 2016 I’m running the Manchester Half Marathon (yet my biggest running challenge) with my friends and my brother to raise money for Hack Back CIC.
Hack Back CIC is very close to my heart. Hack Back is run by Anita Morris. Anita’s fantastic work makes a massive difference to people’s life. The project is unique in that interventions are delivered with the support of owls (yes real, specially trained owls!). I worked with Anita, as a psychology graduate, and have seen how much difference she makes. I was very lucky to be involved. Hack Back CIC delivers programmes to improve mental health and well-being. Anita works with child abuse cases, she runs interventions, she works with autistic children, she visits people living with cancer and the elderly and so much more!
Raising money for Hack Back CIC would mean so much for us, it will help to deliver more of these amazing workshops, it will pay for all the costs. We would appreciate every penny.
I wish we had more Anita’s in this world! :-)
