Hi, this year I'm running my first Great North Run and its for the charity Hug In A Bag.
The charity is based locally and the donations will be used to support those diagnosed with breast cancer.
"Our aim is to give one more hug in the form of a bag containing gifts and information leaflets to every person diagnosed with breast cancer in University Hospital of North Durham and Royal Victoria Hospital Blackpool. We know from our own experiences that you can feel very alone and vulnerable at this time, and we want to show our understanding and support."
Each bag costs around £60 - my aim is to raise £200 which could provide 3 bags and Ill be asking npower to match the money raised so any donation is welcome, no matter how small.
