Sheffield disabled angling club took my Dad out every Wednesday for the last 8 years. Due to ill health, he was unable to carry all his fishing gear and so found tit impossible to go in his own. The club picked him up from his door, took him to different ponds and set him up for a fantastic days fishing. Dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer in January 15 but continued fishing until July. One of the things that upset him most was when he was eventually too ill to continued. Dad passed away on 3rd September 15 and I promised him I would help to raise funds for his beloved fishing group.
I decided, with rather a lot of encouragement from my loved ones to go dry for January. This may not seem like a big deal but when you've had a drink pretty much every night for the last 30 years, believe me it's tough. Please help by giving what you can, it would mean so much.
