Adele and I aim to cycle from Highburton, Huddersfield (Isaac's home) to Aberffraw, Wales - over 140 miles - in just 2 days!
Neither of us have cycled this kind of distance before, so it will be a monster of a challenge for both of us.
Isaac was the son of my best friend, and I am proud to say he called me "Uncle Martin" (as he 'tag team' wrestled me with his brother Xander!). He always loved a good challenge and had a great sense of adventure - something we hope to emulate in undertaking this ride.
The Isaac Nash Trust (TINT) was created in Isaac's memory & it's primary aim is to create a skate park for Isaac's friends and young people in the local area of Highburton.
We are doing this bike ride to raise funds for planning and building the skate park. Adele and I aim to raise £500, please help us to achieve this goal by donating to this page.
We aim to create a skate park with an exciting feel and cutting edge facilities for all to enjoy. It will also be landscaped and family friendly.
There are no local skate facilities so this project will provide a great opportunity for people to get out on their scooters and enjoy exercise close to home. We hope to provide some seating and picnic benches close by as well so that parents who go along to watch their young children will have somewhere to rest.
Once completed this will be a lasting tribute to Isaac, who was a very keen scooter and skateboarder and something that all his friends and other young people will be able to use and enjoy for a long time to come.
