Steph and Martin will be undertaking two challenges this September to help raise money for Widnes Foodbank.
Martin will be competing in the 'Virtual' Great North Run on 13th September, his first half-marathon for several years, while Steph will be aiming to run 75km in the Great Run Solo Challenge during September!
Due to the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, many local people, more than ever are struggling to feed their families.
In April 2020, there was an 89% increase in families using foodbanks, compared with April 2019 (109% increase for children's food parcels).
Widnes Foodbank provide three days' nutritionally balanced emergency food and support for local people.
