Michael & Sharon - GNR & Darlington 10k 2017

Michael will be taking part in the Great North Run on Sunday 10th September 2017 and I have signed up to complete the Darlington 10K on Sunday 13th August 2017. We are both running in aid of Age UK Darlington which is a local charity that aims to help people make the most of later life. Any money raised locally will be spent locally. Each year Age UK Darlington support over 5000 people aged 50+ - They help reduce loneliness and isolation, offer impartial advice & information, provide much needed care, create health & well-being activities and enable people to live well, happy and independently for longer. What your gift could provide £10 - a telephone befriender to keep in touch with an isolated older person £20 - a home visit to a lonely older person £45 - a day out providing activities, friendship and a hot meal for older people.
