Mike has been working at Experian for just over 2 years now (how time flies). Mike is an avid cyclist, biking to work almost every day… but 100 miles in one day is a huge challenge! A typical Tour De France stage averages about 120 miles. In addition to the extremely long distance, a 3 month hiatus from his bike means that this ride will be especially tough for Mike - he almost had to get off and push after 8 miles this week 

Why they need our service

Alan has worked at Experian for 17 years and currently use most of his 3 volunteering days to do group volunteering at Greenfields Primary School in the Meadows area of Nottingham. Alan has seen the real difference our efforts can make. It's really great that we're supported through our jobs to contribute back to the communities we live and work in.

Plan and expected results

Both Mike and Alan hope to raise as much as possible for their local communities through the Heart of Experian Charity Fund. We've seen first-hand the massive difference that volunteering efforts can have on communities with targeted effort and time. During the CS GPD Community week in May, we had the opportunity to help 7 local schools & community centres through a concentrated effort by 150 employees - but we both feel we'd like to give something back at an individual level.
