Having not ridden for a while due to back pain, and having recently had back surgery, I stupidly thought it would be a good idea to do a 50-mile sponsored bike ride.
Creating Adventures is a charity close to my heart. They are a Warrington-based charity bringing laughter, stimulation and personal fulfilment to adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities.
Fantastic achievement for a wonderful cause 👏 😀
Good luck and well done! I didn’t sign up to do a charity bike ride 5 weeks after my surgery - or ever 🤣. I’ll stick to the walking 🤣. Enjoy xxx
Wishing you all the best with this. A very positive cause

About Liverpool - Chester - Liverpool Bike Ride
The 50-mile Liverpool Chester Liverpool bike ride is the most popular route out of all 6 routes available and a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a family-friendly mass participation ride. This route is perfect for both keen cyclists and beginners looking for a true challenge. The ride starts at the historic Old Haymarket on the Liverpool side of the Birkenhead (Queensway) Tunnel and allows you to cycle traffic-free right up to the toll booths in Birkenhead. The route loops through North Cheshire, with the opportunity to stop at the Sports Field at Dale Barracks, Chester where cyclists can enjoy a lively atmosphere and a variety of services, refreshments, and entertainment. The route takes cyclists back through the tunnel, to the finish festival village at Exchange Flags.
