Miles for Refugees

Like many, the recent events in Afghanistan have really horrified me. Seeing families with children trying to get to safety gives me the shivers. As a parent, I worry about whether my children are happy, yet here are people fleeing with their children, not knowing where they are going and whether they are safe, and in some cases families are separated. I have decided to take part in "Miles for Refugees" this September. I am aiming to cycling/run 300miles, the equivalent of the Refugee journey from Paris to London. It's a small gesture but the least I can do... I have chosen to support this local charity "Bath Welcomes Refugees" which supports Refugees resettling here. Any support is really appreciated.
