Minibus hire affords our member groups access to their activities and events. We can offer the hire on a self-drive basis or provide access to a self-employed Driver or volunteer that have the relevant MiDAS and associated qualifications. Our member groups include sports, crafts, educational, young people, older people, people with disabilities, religious, marginalised, schools, health, projects, ethnic, social and employment. Vehicles can be hired for as little or as long as required.

Affordable and accessible minibus transport is essential for Community Groups and projects to access the activities and events that meet the objectives of their organisations. The transport we provide is focussed on their needs and is safe, secure and regularly maintained, and the fleet has vehicles which are both specific and versatile. East Durham is really a collection of 22 villages and has meagre facilities for our member groups and most activities involve a trip outside of East Durham.

Although we are not a "sexy" charity, the services we provide other charities enables them to do their frontline interventions. Whenever a charity displays the photograph depicting the success of the event or activity you can be sure that in the background, or just out of shot, is the minibus or other mode of transport that got them there. East Durham is a collection of former collieries plus two small towns, which are linked by rural roads. Getting people out and about affords them inclusion.
