Hi all
My name is Missie and i would like to tell you my story.
I went to a home where i was underfed, beaten with sticks, kicked and tied to a drainpipe outside the house on a short rope that wasn't long enough for me to lay down, so i had to learn to sleep sitting up.
Then, one day i managed to escape and sat outside the front door of a kind couple that took me in and rescued me.
I now live with another staffie who was already resident there, We got on well together and soon had a family of our own. My son, Batehoven, who still lives with us was born deaf but this makes no difference to him as he has become a loveable little rascal. We all now live happily together.
I am attempting this walk to try to raise funds and awareness to help other unfortunates like I was. Please, please help us to save as many dogs as possible and stop them being beaten, half starved and abused as I was, and other cruelty actions that are worse than I suffered.
