Supporting children and their families in a regular informal group. We provide a range of activities to incorporate all ages of children, such as crafts, baking, exercise classes, internet and outdoor activities. Spending regular time with other children and families that have met each other through our external trips enables them to build on those friendships and improve the isolation, lonliness that grief can cause.

There are many children and families suffering from the death of a very close family member, every day! The families and children are left to cope with that loss with little or no support. Some families don't have the means to provide helpful activities for their children or provide books and other rescources to help them deal with their grief. We want to improve the lives of these families by providing funded activities.

By providing a monthly support group for them we can help them to build relationships with other children in similar situations so they know they're not alone, improving their self esteem, confidence and ability to speak out about their feelings, whilst in a safe and fun environment.We hope the children and their parents will overcome fears of new things and confidence in their own abilities. Costs provided are approxmate until the project is up and running.
