To create a stunning mosaic designed and created by the teachers, volunteers and children of Svitac ( a community project for children in Brcko, Bosnia) - positioning of the mosaic to be decided - could be on an exterior or interior wall. Theme for the art work to be decided.

This project has been developed in partnership with Firefly International - a charity set up to help children in war torn Brcko Bosnia. Firefly is run by volunteers who provide creative activities for the local children. This mosaic project will raise the profile of the centre and provide a legacy piece of art work. This project will be the first partnership project with Art4Space and Firefly International

Provide meaningful daytime activity for two weeks; Participants will learn the art of mosaic; Participants will be encouraged to explore ways to use their skills beyond the length of the project to improve their financial position; Participants will learn about how to use different materials to create art work.A community mosaic for Svitac; Participants will integrate more with their local community; Participants will have an increased self- confidence to engage with new people and experiences.
