I have set myself a challenge for 2021 to be more fit and active and do something out of my comfort zone. ... climb mountains (and also some big hills! ). Whilst acheiving this personal goal I hope people can sponsor me and help support a good cause/ charity . Margaret is my much loved work colleague and having lost a son set up The Ciaran Bingham Foundation Trust which does a lot to help the local community (social isolation in older people). I would love if people can sponsor my challenge by donating to her cause.
Help support me by donating if you can. I appreciate your support and motivation.
My brother Kyle is also supporting me in this challenge.
I am neither the fittest or healthiest but with a positive mindset (and with the right gear and pre walk fasting) I have begun this challenge already, so far doing local pendle hill (557m) then tackling the UK mountain of the Old man of Conniston (803m summit).
My next big goal will be the Welsh mountain Snowdon (1085m).
UPDATE: I made it up snowdon!
