A group of reception mum's from Pilgrims Parents have decided they needed a challenge and thought it would be brilliant to also raise money for the school's charity of the year - FACES. We will be taking part in a 5 mile Tough Mudder on the 14th May 2016. This will be the first time any of us have taken part, not only do we have to run 5 miles, we will be working together to haul ourselves over ridiculous obstacles in water and mud.
About FACES
FACES (Family and Children's Early-help Services) is a well established local charity offering practical and emotional support to families under stress.
We do this by recruiting and training volunteers who work alongside one of our Practitioners in delivering a unique menu of tailored services directly to a family, in their own home.
FACES aim to support families during difficult periods in their lives, especially where this will contribute to keeping children with their families.
Our objectives include working in partnership with parents to promote the well-being of each family as a whole and enabling families to manage their affairs with increased confidence and independence.
