In a moment of utter stupidity I entered the Brighton Marathon and, in an act fuelled by pure spite, they gave me a place!
Seems to me that if I have to go through it, I should try to raise money for a deserving cause.
My daughter recommended Frome Birth Talk after they were a positive help for her. They provide free support in pregnancy and new parenthood "from Bump to Baby" and are the only organisation providing this service in the area. There's a picture of my daughter and granddaughter for cuteness so if you would like to support me, please sponsor me. Whatever the amount, we will both be grateful. Thanks.

- We believe that people who are pregnant, who have lost babies, and who are in the early years of new parenthood deserve support. NHS England estimates that one in five women experiences anxiety and low mood during pregnancy and early parenthood (but that it is likely to be much higher than this). We recognise the impact pregnancy and parenthood has on partners, too.
- By providing a free professional counselling service, we aim to help people overcome feelings of anxiety and depression before they escalate into serious mental illness and also to help parents get off to a positive start with their baby, with lifelong positive effects for everyone concerned.
- Frome Birth Talk provides the only free, face-to-face counselling service specifically for pregnant and postnatal people in the Frome area.
- We proudly support anyone, of any gender, who has had or lost a baby within the last two years.
- Frome Birth Talk relies on grants and donations to provide vital mental health support, which impacts parents and children alike. Any support you can give us means the world!
