Carers, and cared for, can to drop in to the MASE and are guaranteed a friendly welcome. The event will start at 1:30 and will end at 15:00. There are many information leaflets available, and Carers can speak freely to the guest speakers during their time with the Group. Occasionally there will be a quiz, musical bingo or perhaps a normal game of bingo. There is always a free raffle, and refreshments available. There is no charge to come into the drop-in; it is a friendly place to be.

The MASE Drop-In is for all Carers to attend in the daytime for a chat and a general catch-up on help to see if they are getting the benefits they are entitled to. Speakers from various organisations will be there when possible to answer questions. There will also be a fun-element with the occasional quiz, or talks from local Library, or Trading Standards. If cared for are not in day-care they too are able to come along. This group is totally run by volunteers.

From past experience we know that many Carers face social isolation. It is hoped that the MASE drop-in group will offer the hand of friendship and support to the people that attend. The MASE is practical, helpful, sensitive, and comforting; it is all that, and more. The drop-ins will be infused with compassion and kindness by all its volunteers, which are RARE qualities these days. It is a chance for Carers to meet others in a similar situation and to build up networks of support.
