The pitch on the Council facility in Crossgar requires fencing to allow it to pass the Intermediate inspection along with other items such as a stretcher and first aid kit on site. In all we require approximately 500 metres of fencing. Both perimter and supporter fencing is required to segregate one pitch from the other at the facility. We also require two 8 person substitute dugouts. The cost of the fencing, dugouts etc is £30,000 and we are looking for help to fund the work.

For the 1st Team to play Intermediate Level Football we need a pitch of the required standard. Up until now we have shared with Dromara Village FC and Kilmore Rec FC. We would like to thank both clubs for their help and support. We are starting a project to get our own pitch (for 20 Years) at Kilmore Playing Fields up to the required standard. This needs to be completed by 1st May 2018. If it is not ready the 1st Team would struggle to stay at Intermediate Football Level.

This will keep the club competing at the highest level in amateur football. It will help us to continue the good work with our youth section (70 children) including the Saturday Morning Small Sided Games which attracts 140 children weekly. It will also help us to continue the Annual Summer League along with the other community and charity work we are involved with.
