Until I took on this challenge the furthest I had ever cycled was 25 miles and then rested for several weeks! Bath to Paris is a 240 mile ride over 4 days which will be both a physical and mental challenge for me. However, the challenge for me is nothing compared to the huge daily challenges faced by the families, children, carers and young adults that Sporting Family Change (SFC) support. SFC mentors, coaches and supports people who, for whatever reason, find themselves in a less fortunate position than us. This includes: parents who have suffered domestic violence and still have to provide a stable environment for their children; children with no confidence and no belief that they are worthy of any happiness; young adults with disabilities; and families with caring responsibilities.
