Hello everyone,
Hope everyone is having a great New Year :).
My name is Nicole and I am a Physiotherapist working for a lovely charity; Neuromuscular centre midlands. The charity supports people with Muscular Dystrophy and other neuromuscular conditions by providing regular and consistent physiotherapy which is not available through the NHS after the age of 19. Physiotherapy is very important in this patient population as it helps increase their quality of life and helps promote activity.
NMC midlands is a young charity (2years old) which relies heavily on fundraising and donations in order to provide this service; it does not receive any support from large organisations and for this reason fundraising is very important. This charity has been well received and has made a tremendous difference to people with neuromuscular conditions. This fundraising event will help us continue to make a difference and allow this lovely charity to grow.
