I am 36yr old endosister, hystersister and fibro warrior with many other conditions to deal with.
I have had endometriosis since a young teen but it took 12yrs before I was diagnosed via a laparoscopy (camera into tummy through belly button) I was told I would never have children naturally and started my treatment course for Endo. From birth control, coil, diet changes to a drug that puts one in menapause on 3 different seprate timelines.
I did miraculously give birth via emergency c section twice(dont give up endosisters ) I have also lost babies too. Now my treatment is pain control, natural remedies and a lot of pushing myself. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy in 2014 and my remaining ovary removed July last year throwing me into surgical menapause. I still have some issues and pain from nerve damage from my diagnostic lap, leaving me in pain every step I take.
I am raising funds for the EndoMarch Sponsors FTWW-Fair Treatment For the Women of Wales because they tirelessly fight for all women in Wales.
FTWW have helped and supported me in my darkest times and have helped me fight for better care and treatment of my endometriosis and continue to help, support and fight for me and all women of Wales 24/7 and are unpaid.
They have supported the EndoMarch in Wales for the last 2yrs and have again sponsored the EndoMarch in Wales thus helping with costs for the whole event.
I want to give back by raising funds for FTWW whilst raising awareness of endometriosis in Wales at the EndoMarch.
As many who know me, know I help organise the EndoMarch but they also know I struggle with walking far so this is a a huge challenge for me to complete as a whole.
