Nina and Helen's Open Water Swim 16 July 2016

As all of you will know our beautiful son and Nina, Vivienne's and Fraser's brother Aidan died in December 2010 and we miss him so much - life can never be the same without him. After Aidan died we found a local group for bereaved parents called SLOW and the group has been a lifeline to us as I know it has been for many other bereaved parents. It gave us a space to be with others who really understood. SLOW provides an amazing service and is run through donations and grants. So as a thank you for all that the group's given me and my family Nina and I are braving the cold waters down at the Royal Docks to swim a half mile open water swim to raise funds and in Aidan's memory. Thankfully it's compulsory to wear a wetsuit! Please sponsor us and help SLOW continue doing what it does so well. Helen and Nina xxx
