As all of you will know our beautiful son and Nina, Vivienne's and Fraser's brother Aidan died in December 2010 and we miss him so much every day- life can never be the same without him.
After Aidan died we found a local group for bereaved parents called SLOW and the group has been a lifeline to us as I know it has been for many other bereaved parents. It gave us a space to be with others who really understood.
SLOW provides an amazing service and is run through donations and grants. So as a thank you for all that the group's given me and my family Nina and I are braving the cold waters down at the Royal Docks again to swim a half mile open water swim to raise funds and in Aidan's memory.
It's our second year and last year Nina was the youngest swimmer there!
