The Principle Trust Children’s Charity Based in Skipton, The Principle Trust Children’s Charity’s aim is to help improve the quality of life of children from across Yorkshire who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, or disabled through the provision of free holidays.
The charity supports disabled, disadvantaged, and underprivileged children across the whole of Yorkshire through the provision of a free holiday, our families are people who would not normally enjoy a holiday together because of their circumstances.
Their aim is to improve the mental and emotional wellbeing of children and provide some relief from the poverty, crime, disability, and any other disadvantage they may be enduring. The holidays also give the opportunity to strengthen family units and therefore improve quality of family life. The Principle Trust have had experience of sending children and their families on free holidays for over 10 years now and so far over 4,100 children have benefitted from a break.
North Yorkshire Police will be supporting the 'Kick-Off@3' Football Tournament at Sandylands Sports Centre, Skipton, on 8th May 2022. We have chosen The Principle Trust Children’s Charity to be the benefactors of the money raised.
