I will be fundraising this year for the charity Stay Up Late, who run the gig buddies project i volunteer with and decided i needed to do more than just run a marathon to raise funds.
Therefore in October i will be running 3 events and in total should be running at least 90 miles.
It starts with the Downs Link Ultra on the 2nd October, my longest run ever, 38 miles from Guildford to Shoreham. It won't be easy but i'm looking forward to it.
Next and two weeks later, (16th Oct) i will be taking part in a 6 hour running challenge, The Tigger Bounceathon challenge in Ashdown Forest. I will be running for the entire 6 hours, it is lapped course of about 5 miles each lap and I will aim to run at least 30 miles.
Finally, The local marathon and a tough one. Beachy Head. The shortest distance of the three events, however with the climbs along the route, especially towards the end along the seven sisters and beachy head, it is one of the toughest marathons i have run and will be looking to beat last years time of 4:30:34.
Training is going well and i completed my 6th marathon or further of the year last Saturday, the Darnley Challenge, with two more marathons planned in September.
It would be fantastic if you would sponsor me and help support a great charity.
