Like most venues, the Oh Yeah Music Centre relies heavily on the income generated from live music events, bar sales and room hire. Since the lockdown began over 10 weeks ago, Oh Yeah has shut its doors with no indication when our usual events can resume. We need your help! Over the month of June, our supporters will be running, jogging, walking a virtual marathon - all 26.2 miles! Please give what you can, or why not walk with us?
How the funding will be spent
The Oh Yeah Centre is a not solely a music venue, as a registered charity its work spans the generations from teaching young people how to run their own live music events right the way through to working with older people with dementia through the medium of music and storytelling. We are continuing our Youth Outreach work in the midst of the pandemic, adapted our programmes to be delivered online and continuing to support the young people we work with.
How this will benefit the community
We need your help to continue our outreach work, our talent development programmes and our support of the local grassroots music scene in Northern Ireland. All money raised through this appeal will be used to fund the work of the Oh Yeah Music Centre.
