I am attempting to complete The Great North Run this weekend (with very little training!) for The St Vincent's Centre in Leeds. St Vincent's provide a wide range of services for the people of Leeds including and not limited to:
Emergency food provision which helps families and individuals in a crisis when they have no other means of support. Food parcels provide nutritious meals for three days, household essentials, toiletries and personal hygiene products.
Migrant support offering advice and guidance with immigration, asylum and refuge processes. St Vincent's also provide guidance for employment, housing and welfare as well as information about access to the education system including English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and IT classes.
An award winning Debt team who provide professional support and advice to help people manage their finances.
A volunteering programme giving people the confidence, skills and work experience in a friendly cafe or shop environment.
Charity Shop and Depot which collects, redistributes and delivers goods to those in need. Any funds raised are put directly back into their projects.
A Community Cafe providing quality, healthy meals at low prices for the local community.

Thank you! Orla 😃
