The Pariser Girls Run Reigate for Stripey Stork!

A bit about us... Sophie, aged 6 & 3/4 is the Captain of our team and the most experienced runner, having taken part in Run Reigate last year and Sports Day at school. Lexi, aged 4 is new to running, but can go pretty fast! Sophie & Lexi are taking part in the 1.1 mile long kids race at Run Reigate. Donna, age 37 is also brand new to running, having never taken part in any sort of race before, or any sport at all for that matter. Having recently completed the Couch to 5K program (which contained a lot less couch than she was hoping for), she is planning to undertake her first ever 5K! The charity that has inspired us to run is Stripey Stork. Stripey Stork collect donations of baby equipment, toys and clothing, check that they meet current UK safety standards and work in partnership with healthcare professionals and support services to ensure that these go to families experiencing hardship. As their Community Ambassador, Donna has seen first-hand the incredible work that they do in our local community, helping the families who need it most. She also loves the values at the heart of Stripey Stork – kindness, sharing, recycling and community. Celebrating our 5th birthday in September, Stripey Stork has helped over 5,000 local families to date. Thank you for your support.
