As one of the Founders of Southside I am delighted (!) to be riding 40 miles along the Thames from Putney to Walton on Thames and back on November 1st all in aid of funding for our education programme.
As one of my supporters you will contribute to the Big Literacy Project of SYLA. Our charity supports boys of African and Afro-Caribbean descent from the age of 8 to 16 to help them reach their potential as responsible and productive members of the community.
Our boys live in deprived areas of London and their progress at school is often hampered by poor reading and writing skills. This project will encourage them to enjoy reading and enable them to gain confidence in writing and performing their work.
Your contribution will gain an additional £10 immediately and will be doubled if we reach our target.
