Hiya,
I'm Patrick Higgins and I'm going to be running a 1/2 marathon for The Mark Gorry Foundation very soon. The MGF are a local Testicular Cancer charity based in Widnes, set up by a Mark Gorry, who sadly lost his fight with Testicular Cancer in 2009.
I run my own Barber's (O'Hare's) on Widnes Market and over the past few years we have supported the foundation in raising awareness for the disease, as well as raising funds to help with the charity's aims.
In November, I grew my beard for the whole month for their annual 'Grow a Beard for Gorry' campaign and managed to raise a huge £527 for the cause.
I am aiming to raise my sponsorship to £1000 in the next 4 weeks by running in the Liverpool half marathon and would really appreciate your support by donating a few quid to a great cause.
