Hi there. Thank you for visiting my page. On Saturday, 28 July, my friends and I – the GLS Musketeers - will be putting ourselves through a gruelling and muddy assault course in the outskirts of Skipton to raise money for Horton Housing Association’s Group Living Service (GLS). I am a GLS manager (that's me on the far left of the photo at last year's event). I manage Mount Royd in Bradford which houses 11 young people aged 16-18 who have either recently left local authority care or are homeless. Funding for services like this is always very limited, so we would like to raise some extra money to be able to give these young people experiences and days out enjoyed by others their age. The Tough Mudder Yorkshire is a 12 mile muddy assault course through the grounds of Broughton Hall, near Skipton. This is the third year I have done this event, but we have been warned that this year’s course is even harder, with new obstacles! We will need to work together as a team to help each other through the course. We would appreciate any donations in support of our efforts – any money raised will make a real difference to the young people in our care. Thank you. Paul Lang
