I started to run more often as I had a shoulder operation which meant my usual caving and climbing adventures had to be put on hold, but after a number of weeks post op I was able to run again. With a close friend of mine taking on an incredible challenge of running a minimum of 3.65miles every day for the whole year (3.65 and 365 days you see!) he convinced me that running a marathon on one of the days was a great idea too. Inspired by his efforts, wanting to join him on some of his 365 running journeys and generally always keen for a challenge I signed up. I thought it would be a shame to do my first major longer distance run without it helping anyone else, so I'm raising money for SAFE Networks, who are an organisation who's "sole purpose is to end human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of those underage within the sex industry". Any and every penny counts so please give whatever you can and/or maybe as an alternative to an early birthday present for my 30th! Cheers all! Love Paul.
Family cash contributions for my birthday. Thank you everyone!
