I have decided to do the St Albans Sleepout Friday 4th December in support of Herts Young Homeless, a local charity which helps young people from 16 -24 with the sadly often hidden problem of homelessness in our prosperous county.
I will be dossing down for the night without the assistance of a yurt, marquee or tipi. There will only be the stars or clouds above me and beneath me just earth.
I do not expect this will be anything but a fairly miserable physical experience whatever the weather that night, but I know it will give me a greater insight into an issue which is growing in prevalence.
