Step into the enchanting world of "The Forest In Between," a captivating interactive play currently in development. Inspired by workshops with Year 6 children, this innovative production is designed to unravel the challenges of transitioning to secondary school.

Join Bailey, Sophie, Devon, and Budge, along with Budge's loyal canine companion Winnie, as they gather in the heart of the forest on the cusp of their journey to secondary school. In this last summer together and the forest is about to teach them some important lessons.

As Sophie navigates the fast-paced realm of adolescence and Bailey grapples with concerns about climate change, Devon struggles with honesty, and Budge faces the loss of their dear friend Winnie. Amidst it all, Charlie's still invisible.

The unique aspect of this play lies in its interactivity—inviting the audience to vote and shape the characters' paths. With 45 different versions of the play, each dependent on the choices made, the journey is dynamic and engaging. Don't worry about wrong turns; the power to alter the course remains in in the audience's hands throughout this magical exploration.

Told using magical storytelling and puppetry, "The Forest In Between" weaves a tale that transcends boundaries—between north and south, night and day, imagination and reality, child and teen. It is within this mystical space that the magic unfolds.

This play addresses the issues that matter most to young people, including friendships and bullying, the pain of losing a loved one, concerns about climate change, fears related to detention and strict teachers, and the universal theme of growing up. Join us on this transformative journey through "The Forest In Between," where the magic of exploration and self-discovery takes centre stage.
