On 19th January I will be hurling myself off New Zealand's highest building - Auckland's Sky Tower. I will be plummeting 192 metres off the Sky Tower at 85 km an hour!
Why? I am raising money for Blue Smile, an amazing children's charity that provides counselling and therapy for pupils in schools between the ages of 3 and 13 during a critical window of opportunity for change.
Today, nearly 4 children in every UK class has a mental health problem. If children don't get proper support early on, the repercussions can be enormous with social issues, lower attainment and increased risk of mental illness in adulthood. Early help is a fraction of the cost of the urgent and high level interventions in mental health that might otherwise be needed later on.
