I am running Chester Marathon (26.2 miles) in aid of DangerPoint, an award-winning safety charity on the North Wales Coast. DangerPoint provides invaluable life skills to children and adults, educating over 95,000 visitors since 2005. DangerPoint provides the community with an education that promotes the awareness of health, wellbeing, safety and sustainable living. Living in an ever-changing world where caring for the environment is a growing problem, it is important that our young people know how to keep safe and healthy whilst caring for the planet. As a father myself, I worry about the everyday dangers that my children may face, whether they are at home, out with friends or online. DangerPoint covers a whole range of scenarios that children and young people might come across, including accidents at home, bullying, internet safety and much more. 26 miles is a long way for a middle-aged man, hoping you can help me support this amazing cause.
