On Saturday 22nd July I undertook a personal challenge to raise money for the Carroll Centre (www.thecarrollcentre.org) to support their work with young people. My challenge involve cycling 135 miles through the Welsh Mountains from the town of Brecon in the the Brecon Beacons National Park to Llanberis in the Snowdonia National Park and running up Mount Snowdon the highest peak in Wales. I completed my non-stop cycle ride on Saturday in 10 hours 47 minutes and ran to the summit of Mount Snowdon on Sunday and raised the banner! Then I celebrated with a megga feed in the legendary Pete's Eats (http://www.petes-eats.co.uk) in Llanberris. Thanks to everyone that supported me - if you haven't got around to it yet there is still time the link is open for a few more weeks. Hope you will get inspire to ride through the beautiful Welsh mountains or start your own adventure. Pete
