Phase 2 includes the fit-out of the first floor of the new community boathouse. This covers the construction of changing facilities including showers; a disabled lift access; mixed-use educational and training facilities; aerobic and weight training room; social area; kitchen and bar facilities; along with all the associated infrastructure (utilities, electrical, mechanical systems)

Phase 1 of the community boathouse is now complete. Phase 2 has started and will provide all the infrastructure and support facilities to deliver a modern sports facility. The existing facilities are basic and situated some 500m from the boathouse.

A fully fitted-out community boathouse facility appropriate for the 21st century including all the services which would encourage participation and long term retention.
