Team Philip Run Reigate

Over the summer holiday Jemima, Indigo and Quinn will be running regularly to build up their miles into the equivalent of a half marathon. On Sunday 17th September they will run the 13th mile in the park and receive a medal for their hard work. This year we have chosen to support a fabulous local charity Stripey Stork that do so much for both our local and wider community. Stripey Stork supports children and parents experiencing hardship by passing on great quality items that will make their life that little bit more bearable.Recently Stripey Stork were able to be immediately responsive to the needs of the families affected by the Grenfell Tower fire and get fantastic quality, well sorted, needed items to the family centre that was caring for those people. For the last two years we have supported the Stripey Stork Christmas Campaign that matches local children experiencing hardship with a new age appropriate gift so that they can experience the magic of Christmas that all kids should. This is only possible if we fundraise and raise awareness throughout the year. Jemima, Indigo and Quinn will be on the look out for opportunities to raise money throughout the holidays by doing odd jobs and selling unwanted toys/clothes but they would also be grateful if wonderful friends and family could give them a helping hand towards their fundraising target.
