The Wilberforce Trust is York's oldest charity, established in 1833.
On 25 June 2016 they are holding a Challenge Walk to cover the 60.5 mile Wilberforce Way which extends from Hull to York,The trail goes from Hull (where William Wilberforce was born ), goes through Pocklington (where he went to school) to York (where he was declared MP for the county of Yorkshire). The Walk will be spilt into 6 walks, each of which is about 10 miles and each with a team of walkers to cover it so that together we can complete the walk in a single day. I will be leading the section between Walmgate Stray and Sutton on Derwent on the day.
Please sponsor me to take part in this Challenge Walk. Any donation whatsoever is fundamental in helping to reach our target to help people with sight loss.
