A couple of years ago I took on a mammoth bike ride from Paris to MK to raise money for Willen Hospice, CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) and 4ED a MND charity for a former rugby player of MKRUFC. This year I'm back and it will be harder as its is 10 years of the fundraisers and as a group we are aiming to raise £100,000!

The ride a couple of years ago nearly broke me but this one around the southwest of France is going to be hotter, longer and steeper!

the "LILROF26" is the 10th in the ROF series of rides and is going to be the ultimate cycling challenge. There will be other events throughout the year but this is my main challenge.

Starting in the seaside hotspot of Valras-Plage near Beziers , we head up and inland to Minerve, Carcassone , Bram and then Limoux. We tackle the ‘Monsegur’ climb and back, across to Mirepoix and then past the Cathar Castles to Perpignan. The last leg is along the coast back to Beziers. A more gentle last day…still 100 miles however. In addition to the regular route, there will be a few optional side additions, know as ‘ROF PLUS’ additions. The spiral hill climb at Rennes-le Chateau being one such example. Four full days in the saddle. 360 Miles. Plenty of bumps. Climbs? Oh yes!
