Team Fundraisers
HereNI work to build the capacity of lesbian and bisexual women and their families. As one of the most invisible groups in NI society lesbian and bisexual women are often left out of the equation. They work to raise awareness of their needs and to make sure this vibrant section of society is socially included and given the chance to thrive. They do this by travelling to meet women in their own area's and asking what their needs are and setting up peer support groups so they might meet other LB women.
We, Grian and Neasa, are taking part in their May Marathon which means we'll walk/trek 26 miles during the month of May, over a number of sessions. As Here NI's main funding runs out in June, and with traditional fundraising methods limited, we want to help them continue the work they do for lesbian and bisexual women in the north. Any donation, no matter how small, is appreciated!
