Families and carers can enjoy a short guided walk together around a different park each month, giving exercise, opportunities to learn through outdoor play through natural resources, ending with a craft activity and refreshments, allowing time for making friends new and old.

This innovative fun activity for young children and their parents or carers, involves activities both in and outdoors. The event is a joint venture between Milton Keynes Parks Trust Rangers and the Alliance. Every year the activity has grown in popularity and is now being used in other areas of the country. Families (mothers and fathers) enjoy the benefits of the exercise, companionship and fun that this outdoor activity provides.

It gives an awareness of the value of play outdoors as a family, offers opportunities to build social networks whilst engaging in their local environment. It also promotes positive mental health
